Freight & Handling Policies:

What is the standard method for shipping and what are the average transit times?

We offer free shipping on parts deliverable by UPS Ground Service or best way (excluding parts over the UPS 100 lb. weight limit) to the 48 contiguous states generally 1-5 days. COD Fees are $10.00 per box.
FREE SAME DAY SHIPPING**to the 48 contiguous states
A $11.75 handling charge will be added to each order, COD Fees are $10.00 per box.
Pre-Paid UPS Ground delivery on most items ordered by 5:00 pm EST (except where noted -- see below) in the continental USA. A delivery area surcharge of $2.25 is applied to each ground package delivered to residences in certain outlying zip codes as determined by the freight carrier.

What are the additional charges?

Additional shipping charges apply to some items that can exceed the standard weight or dimensions the carrier. Additional charges per item are as follows tires, wheels, seats, and plastic bumper covers at $7.99; cylinder heads, bumpers, torque converters, gears, and manifolds at $9.99, Complete MD3 Combos $14.99 per combo, MD3 Nose Only $9.99, MD3 Fenders Only $9.99. (Example 4 wheels total charge would be $42.95)

Truck Freight:

How much is Truck freight?
|

All items designated "Truck Freight" will be invoiced an additional $90, $120, $140, $170, $190 or $200 depending upon weight. This price includes to-your-door delivery to your chosen business destination not a home. If the carrier determines when the delivery is made that it is a home they will notify PMZ and you will be charged that carriers Residential Surcharge. Roll Cages are shipped truck freight and on occasion can be shipped UPS ground for the $120 truck freight fee. Truck freight items delivered to residence may encounter a carrier fee of $35.00 for residential delivery surcharge. We suggest having all truck freight items delivered to a business.

What are the charges for Over sized Items or Non Boxed Items?

Due to certain freight carriers' specifications, some parts are subject to oversize charges because of their dimensions.
Oversize Charge of $7.99 , Oversize is determined by the carrier based on the dimensions of the packages.
(Items classified as oversize 3 have an additional charge of $59.99)
Non-Box Charge of $7.99 any item that can not be boxed.
Hazardous materials must be shipped by ground at an additional $21.00 per item, in addition to our normal handling charges. UPS web site can explain more details on their dimensional specifications and oversize charges.

What if my item doesn't fall in the categories above?

These items Cranks, Rolling Assemblies, Rear Ends, Transmissions, Scales not listed as free shipping, Aluminum Sheets, Plastic Sheets, Lexan, Engines, Blocks, Metal, Tubing, & Housings are all shipped at discounted rates. Price matching and clearance items are all shipped at discounted freight rates as well. You will find our shipping rates are more reasonable than the majority of similar companies out there. You will also find that on orders over $2000 and up have a huge discount on freight. If your not using PMZ when you have large or small orders you are paying too much. Any item that is shipped under the discounted shipping rates are not subject to a PMZ Handling Fee.

Special Order Shipping:

Do you offer special orders on products you do not stock?

With the chance that we do not stock a particular product, we can order it direct from the manufacturer for you.
Items that are special order and shipped direct from the Vendor may be subject to additional charges from that vendor. If there is an item we do not stock and that vendor charges a special order drop fee, we will inform you at that time. No PMZ Handling fees will be charged on special orders and your order will be shipped directly to you from the Vendor.
